Like the title says, you know what grinds my gears? BS, that’s what.
I’m tired of hearing that my BlackBerry “can’t” do something, and to that I say BS!
I manage the technical department for a telecom company. My mobile communications and access to information are important to me, naturally.
Every day I get a large amount of emails, texts, BBM messages. The BlackBerry Hub lets me deal with the onslaught with ease and aplomb. Having all your communications in one place is indescribably efficient. Try it and you’ll never go back.
I use TeamViewer while I’m mobile to access my laptop to create service orders or check technician dispatch, and stock levels in the CRM. I can use RDP to our corporate servers as an alternative as well. I have the mobile apps for the VOIP products we sell running on my Z30 and Z10 handsets in order to show my customers and to interact with my staff through VOIP, IM, and presence.
I create/modify Microsoft Word docs, modify spreadsheets, use HDMI out for PowerPoint presentations, all from my trusty Z30, Z10, or Playbook. Docs to Go is a killer app, thanks BlackBerry!
I multitask all day. Easy with BlackBerry 10. Easy!
For play? I’m not much of a gamer, but there is a veritable cornucopia of bird flinging, jet packing, candy crushing, first person shooting, puzzling, and overall “time vampire” games to last a lifetime! Have fun people! And speaking of fun, I have Instagram (not that I care about duck faced selfies), and I used my Z30 to sign up for Netflix. Want Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, Linkedin? No problem!
I guess what I’m saying is that although everybody’s use case is different, I cannot imagine a better fit for me and/or others in my shoes. I care about communications, security, and efficiency… the trifecta that BlackBerry dominates in. Oh… and you can have fun too…
So… no BS people, this is prime time…
