WebEx Will End Support for BlackBerry 10 in January

Cisco announced today on their blog that they will end support for BlackBerry 10 and also for legacy BlackBerry BBOS6 and BBOS7.

In the statement Cisco mentioned that from January 4, 2017, BlackBerry users will not be able to download the app from BlackBerry World. BlackBerry OS users will not have any technical support either. If you are already user of WebEx, you will be able to use the app until April 4, 2017.

After this date BlackBerry users will be able to join to conference call through standard dial in.

WebEx of course will be supported for BlackBerry devices using Android OS.

  • still want to say BlackBerry supports bb10???

    • BlackBerry can do nothing if vendor want to pull out their app.

It’s surprising cause it’s Enterprise app and not consumer one.

      You can still use Zoom

WebEx is facing it’s own pressure from Zoom of course! Zoom the way to go. Long live BlackBerry!

If WebEx pulls their app…I use another option or solution. locco_smiley_20

WebEx also has meetings through the browser.

One should not expect WebEx or anyone else to show more commitment to the BB10 OS than BlackBerry itself. This, I’m afraid, is only the beginning of sorrows.

I’ve tried Cisco’s Webex app and it never worked well, s pulling I won’t make any difference to me. Even their laptop/desktop version has issues. I won’t cry for you Cisco.
