Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me over and over? I must be an iPhone user. Does the name Gigi Hadid mean anything to you? It didn’t to me, but the name of her employer most certainly did. Gigi Hadid is a Victoria’s Secret Angel. And this Angel is now the victim of a group of little devils. And I’m betting they wouldn’t look so great in skimpy little things.
Those little devils are attempting to blackmail the lovely Gigi claiming they will leak private photos and videos stolen from her iCloud if she doesn’t pay. And if she doesn’t pay, they have threatened to sell her private content to media outlets. Poor Gigi is standing her ground, refusing to pay and has contacted the authorities and hired a private security company.
You would think after the prior naughty flood of celebrity pics that were stolen from iCloud, people would know better than to store their tidbits in the leaky iCloud. But alas, Tim Cook assured iPhonians that the iCloud was safe, and it appears they have listened. Now Gigi is paying the price, and the cost that goes with it.
Gigi, if you’re going to pay for private security, do it smartly. Buy a BlackBerry.
