A new update is making its rounds to the BlackBerry Android community, and with it comes a new app for the KEYone.
Android OS 7.1.1 brought out Build AAM481 this week. The update aligns with the July security patch for BlackBerry Android. But there’s another new addition nestled in there as well: BlackBerry Support Center.
The BlackBerry Support Center is exactly as it sounds. It offers a direct line of communication for end users to BlackBerry Support. Since the close of the BlackBerry Help Forums, this should feel like a reprieve for concerned users. This can also assuage fears of “Who do I call?” since BlackBerry Mobile has taken the stage.
The Support Center app offers a few options for users. Feedback allows KEYone users to make suggestions, ask questions, and notify of any problems. It even allows you to attach screenshots to your feedback. E-Warranty gives users the opportunity to register their device for better customer service. Hardware diagnosis can either check your device comprehensively through the Quick Test feature, or check individual features you may be concerned with. BlackBerry 10 users might find comfort in this, after using BlackBerry Virtual Assistant to test and diagnose issues.
The BlackBerry Support Center bridges an unsteady gap in consumer satisfaction.
