Thorsten Heins Resigns… Again.

We all know him; love him or hate him, he was a huge part of BlackBerry and BB10.

Heins has resigned as CEO of wireless charging company Powermat. The company confirmed the move, which was part of a broader revamp and settled a long-standing dispute between investors, on Monday.

BlackBerry on Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 said that it will lay off 4,500 employees, or 40 percent of its global workforce, as it reports a nearly $1 billion second-quarter loss a week earlier than the results were expected. There seems to be a bit of upset with what has been going on, Heins has been accused of overspending, lacking strategic vision and not getting any proper deals signed, and Heins leaving “will position the company for growth in the near term and realign all stakeholders under one unified umbrella. ” according to The Board of Directors of Powermat Technologies Ltd.

Mr. Gaurav Bhandari, Director of Powermat, said “We are grateful to Thorsten for his efforts in advancing Powermat’s leadership position in wireless charging for the benefit of businesses and users.  We wish Thorsten the best of luck in the future”

Well, I wonder where he’s going next? He doesn’t seem to have a great track record for the past few years. Are you going to offer him a job?

Reverend Grim

Who is Reverend Grim? Not many people know. He has a channel on BBMC C000117D3 where he smites the rotten Apple. He has a photographic channel too C0045B753 seeing as he's actually a photographer. All we know is that he preaches the safe, secure word... BLACKBERRY and BB10! He will welcome anyone #BacktoBlack and into the United Temple of BlackBerry for a sermon and a cup of tea, even Brad who doesn't understand a word he says!
