It is closer than ever, the KEY2 is on his way.
Another step ahead of the BlackBerry KEY2 release is now done, as the device received the FCC certificate for commercial sale in the US and more markets.
We’ve been following the certifications that the device has been receiving and now it has the FCC approval as the final one necessary. TCL is close to bring the next BlackBerry Mobile keyboard device, the BlackBerry KEY2 to market. With the FCC certificate the device can also go on sale in the UK, and from past releases, the UK is always first to have new BlackBerry’s.
The KEY2 also can be in sale in China with the TENAA certificate, and like the KEYone its logical that BlackBerry Mobile will stay in the Chinese market. The KEY2 is expected to do better in sales (and we hope it does) but until now we don’t know much about the specs.
All we know is that the KEY2 have dual camera and new designed keyboard more like the BlackBerry Passport (but 4 rows). We also heard about 6GB of RAM and Snapdragon 660 from qualcomm.
The annunciation date is June 7th, less then a month. And it will be stream live from BlackBerry Mobile site.
