Steve Cistulli Clears The Air Over KEYone Delayed Release

Steve Cistulli, President & GM of TCL Communication (TCT) North America, has posted Tweets today explaining the delay in the release of the new BlackBerry KEYone. At MWC 2017 it was announced that it would be available in April. However, due to excitement for the device exceeding expectations, BlackBerry Mobile want to make sure that demand is met upon release.

John Chen mentioned in the Q4 earnings call told that BlackBerry KEYone availability would be in May and that production will ramp up in late April.

While this may be a disappointment to some, such as our beloved Erica who is just dying to get her hands on the new KEYone, it is better that the device is freely available at release.

Priced at $549US, the KEYONE is gaining a lot of traction and will hopefully sell well. You can register for pre order HERE
