How to Set Up Snooze Reminder for Email and Messages in the Hub

A few days ago I found a very productive feature that you may have seen in the BlackBerry Hub and might just have ignored. This feature is Snooze. It’s a reminder for Email and messages through the Hub. If you ever went to a meeting and wanted to show a message with relevant content and you always forget, this is for you.

You can set 3 kind of reminders,

  • Time based
  • Location based
  • Connection

Show me how!

Open up one of your email messages. You’ll see a three dot menu at the top right. Choose that and you’ll see the “Snooze” option, second from the bottom.

If you want to snooze your email or message on specific time or few hours ahead you can easily set time for snooze.

You can also set your snooze for location based, if you need the reminder to pop up at specific address. Maybe if its meeting  or email to show to your wife when you come home it could be handy.

The third option is snooze by connection. If you want to make a reminder based on your Wifi connection or any other, you can pick the third option.

Have you used the Snooze option yet? Share with us how you Snooze!

For a few in the audience, I think you’re missing a step or two.
As for how I snooze; I snooze mostly in the mornings. :)

It would be helpful if articles could identify if they are talking about Android or BB10, since this site still has readers with two completely different operating systems.

As the Hub screen shots are dark, it is Android!
