Samsung battery problems? Noted.
Everyone remembers the explosive problem with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, now the Note 8 is having battery problems of it’s own. While surely frustrating, this battery problem would surely be preferable to having a your phone explode in a ball of fire.
Users have been reporting that their Note’s have not been charging. The issue seems to occur when the device has fully drained and the user goes to recharge the device. Users that have been affected by the bug simply can’t get the phone to charge, even after trying different chargers and cables.
Some users that have complained about the issue within Samsung’s help forums have found Samsung employees offering them replacements for their phones. While Samsung is definitely aware of the issue, they don’t yet know what is causing it.
Samsung issued the following statement:
“We have yet to get any official report for this matter and are unable to comment until we obtain more specific information of the device. Any customers with a similar matter are encouraged to contact Samsung at 0330 726 7864.”
No one wants an issue that makes their phone unusable, but an issue that is annoying is surely preferable to one that places the user’s safety at risk.
