Mercury Now Has WiFi Certification

A needed step towards the final Mercury release.

One more step to the release of the Mercury. Even though it still doesn’t have an official name, the Mercury now passes the WiFi Alliance certifications. The DTEK50 and DTEK60 had not yet obtained this certification at this point during their release schedule. We know most of the Mercury specs (from rumors), but we don’t know the official marketing name.

From the certificate, we can only see that TCL is the company that made the device. We need to get used to this point.

As I said, this certificate is one more step forward for the release of the new BlackBerry mobile device.
