Nintendo makes the announcement we’ve been waiting for. More waiting to come.
Nintendo made big news when it finally entered the mobile phone gaming arena with the odd Miitomo app. Since that initial release, Nintendo broke records with Mario Run, and has recently decided to shut down the Miitomo app. So what’s next? Well, there’s really only one direction that matters, and that’s Mario Kart.
I’m no gamer. Even though I’m amazed by how quickly the medium has grown from the original basic Pong game to the current virtual realm, I just haven’t been able to keep up. Gaming has advanced faster than I have. But there’s one game that I’ve always loved, and that was Mario Kart. I’m not proud of the fact that I had to repeat most of a college semester because one of my friends got that game. Really though, every day is a good day for a Mario Kary rally, and our group of friends played it nearly every day.
