“Keyboard” apps for Android updated!

We have mentioned both Keyboard Browser and Keyboard File before on UTB. Both are made by Alain Grange, and are designed to work with Android devices equipped with a physical keyboard. Happily, both apps have received updates in Google Play today.

Keyboard Browser’s changelog states that the latest version now includes access to your Internet History from the left-hand menu, as well as a bug fix for when removing ads (which incurs a nominal fee).

Keyboard File’s update adds thumbnail images for pictures and videos, improved external storage compatibility, keyboard shortcuts for multiple selection, fixes for the display of special files, and some bug fixes.

I currently use both of these apps on my BlackBerry KEYᵒⁿᵉ, and can vouch for how well they work. Alain Grange seems to be releasing updates for both apps on a regular basis, with each new update adding useful functionality.

Keyboard Browser can be downloaded from Google Play here, and your can get your hands on Keyboard File here.

Do you use either Keyboard Browser or Keyboard File? What are your thoughts on either app (or both)? let us know in the Comments below!
