“In case you didn’t know” is a blog about the little things you can find in BB10 that some people didn’t know about. The little tidbits that can help a user make their experience better and maybe pass on the knowledge to someone else. Remember, knowledge is power, so lets begin.
Modifying Your Contacts List.
One of our members on the team had an issue with his contacts list. Twitter was invading his contacts list app and the phone app as well. He didn’t know how to get rid of twitter contacts and it was driving him to the point of wanting to delete the twitter app completely. So I chimed in and said “Nay!” I explained to him that he can have his cake and eat it too.
I told him that all he had to do is open the contacts app, pull down from the top to expose the settings icon and then tap on settings. Once inside the settings menu, you’ll find toggles galore for all kinds of things, like dark/light theme and what contacts actually get shown in your list.
Once there you can modify your little heart out. Now you will be faster and more stream line when pulling up that contact that you are looking for. Lets be honest, not everyone is worthy of a speed dial spot.
If this helped just one person, we are doing our job at UTB blogs.
