Haven’t you always wanted to be in a BlackBerry Beta Program? Now you can.
BlackBerry has decided to open the beta program for the BlackBerry Hub+ Suite to all users, using a BlackBerry Android phone, or any other compatible android phone.
How to join? Simply head to the BlackBerry Beta Zone and sign in using your BlackBerry ID. Once you sign in, choose the BlackBerry Hub+ Suite beta in your eligible programs. If this is your first dip into the android side of the beta program, you’ll need to complete an online form to provide BlackBerry your Google account. Once that has been confirmed, you’re ready to go. Just head to the download page and choose which apps you want to beta test.
The apps include; BlackBerry Device Search, BlackBerry Launcher, BlackBerry Keyboard, BlackBerry Notes, BlackBerry Tasks, BlackBerry Calendar, BlackBerry Contacts, BlackBerry Hub, and BlackBerry Password Keeper. In order to join in any of these programs, you’ll also need to join the BlackBerry Services program. Once signed in, you’ll be able to download beta versions from the Google Play Store as they become available.
Note: As the name implies, these are beta apps, meaning there can potentially be bugs. Finding these bugs is kind of the point of a beta program. Would you rather risk a bug, or get new versions of software early? Now the choice is all yours.
