- Tik Tok the Musical.ly like app is leading the Apple app store in Q1 2018
Sensor Tower published the top apps and games with more than 50 million downloads by 3 categories – Apple Store, Play Store and overall. There are very similar results in both stores and we can say that of the most downloaded products (with more than 50 million downloads) users chose apps over games.
The Only 3 games in the overall chart are PUGB (first in games), Subway Surfers and Garena Free Fire. The only app in top 5 overall who don’t belong to Facebook is UC Browser that ranked in 5th place.
In the USA, the top 5 apps are : Facebook Messenger, Bitmoji, Netflix, Wish and Facebook. Whatsapp only ranked 16th below Spotify, Pandora and Snapchat. Facebook slipped on both stores and on Play Store the app ranked in only 10th place, after ranked in 8 place in the quarter before (Q4 2017).
