Time to meet a new Friend.
Short films have grown in popularity over the past few years, and there’s a new one in the mix this week.
“Friend” tells a twisting tale of survival amid a dystopian world. People held hostage, and a girl on a quest. I won’t say much else, because the creators packed a few surprises in the nine minute flick. This film comes to us from the same team that created the hometown zombie short American Revenant in 2016.
These films are particularly of interest to us at UTB, as they were written by John L. Davis, IV, my husband. He’s been on a few of the early podcasts at UTBGeek, and continues to write and create media content in the horror and sci-fi genres. You can check out his ebook offerings over at Amazon.
Yes… this is a bit of a shameless plug. But, I write for UTB and carry a BlackBerry, so I have good taste. Trust me, the story and cinema quality are worth your time!
The movie offers a little for everyone, but there is some violence. If you’re easily affected by those images, watch cautiously.
Check out the video and share it with your Friend!
