DTEK and Google
#1
I love the DTEK app and the control and comfort it gives regarding privacy, however, it seems that Google has usurped it. What I mean is, if I check Google Maps or Google News apps and their permissions, DTEK tells me there has been no instances of using the permissions and the information is unavailable. Any comments?

Mine works for maps when I actually search it myself.

Even when I open maps and see that it shows my location, and then check DTEK, it shows no instances of checking my location. GMaps has also prompted me to check in to places recently, so I know the location services has been working any active.

If I recall correctly certain Google Apps are not subject to DTEK.

That actually makes sense. I think this is the explanation.
