Anyone know if you need a password to see files stored on the device when connecting the device to a PC? I have a Priv with Marshmallow.

In other words, can someone who gets their hands on my phone see my files by connecting the device to a PC?

Thanks!

I believe they would have to unlock your phone first.

I will get to trying it myself, but I wanted to see what others knew.

Stands to reason if someone has your phone, they can see anything not encrypted, with or without a PC. Why we password protect phone.

My device is password protected and the data encrypted. I wasn't sure what happened when you plugged the device into a PC or other computer...

If there are a hacker, they can try to decrypt the files, still gotta crack password first.
