BlackBerry Android Keyboard

They're 'world phones' and the rest of the world is GSM. Verizon phones have to have GSM for their users to be able to travel without changing carriers

AT&T Privs do not work on Verizon because the band's don't match up.

Different. AT&T are/can be unlocked GSM, don't include CDMA. Brad put it Best, Verizon includes both so phones can be used outside of US.

But it does depend on the LTE in your particular area. So it would be easy to switch to AT&T for a Verizon customer, but not so easy to switch from AT&T to Verizon. Why didn't BlackBerry just make all the Privs "world" phones?

Why add CDMA when very few carriers use it anymore?

Just two in US, Verizon and Sprint, but it's still use other countries or two.
No, I don't know which ones, just something I've read.
Besides, wouldn't they still sell more?

I doubt the added cost would pay off.
