Keeps the read/write PUH laser cool and more accurate while its working by keeping the reflected light to a minimum?

Just thought I would mention that trivial fact?

For what it's worth, I have Win7 pro on my home computer (former work computer) and I upgraded to Win10. However the drivers it installed messed it up and it ran hot, as in thermonuclear hot. I've since rolled back to Win7. BTW, corporately we never went to Win8 and are still on Win7. Also never went to Vista. Bottom line, I'm suggesting it could be Win10 ha mucked things up.

Ran Win 10 for two days before I rolled back to Win 7 Ultimate.
Agree there could be a driver conflict.

Don't think so, just driver probs with older peripherals
