Calling all developers
#1
My employer is a huge google docs user and unfortunately due to the lock down of Google play services, I am unable to use Google drive. Kinda ironic for an open source platform. I have found a few apps that attempt to enable the use of google drive but none seem to work well. I would pay at least 10 dollars for an app that would allow smooth use of google drive that somehow works without the google play services. I'm no developer so I have no idea if that can be done but if anyone has any ideas I'm open.

I have tried it yes. It opens nicely in excel but if I want google sheets to edit right in the cloud, seems to not do that so well

Tell me about it but you would be surprised. Many have compromised on security for convenience and Google knows that which is why they provide those services.
