Dell Discovered a Break-In Earlier This Month

The computer giant experienced a breach but nothing significant was stolen.

The Dell computer company announced that on November 9 someone (or several) had entered its systems and that the purpose of the break-in had not yet been found. What was discovered at Dell was that it was an attempt to glean information from the company’s customers but without success.

Dell claims that although their system has been hacked, they have found no proof that information has been stolen from them, according to Dell systems analysts, relatively easy to hack and especially how the company keeps its customers’ passwords, because they keep it in plain text.

The report said that Dell did not expand information about the hacking except that they are still investigating the case and will update it later.
