Dear John, T-Mobile Screws It Up Again

Dear John,

I see you’ve started a new promotion. A promotion that has BlackBerry all over it. It’s a step in the right direction. But John, really now, you can do better.

Yes, right there on the T-Mobile site, there it is, ‘Bring your BlackBerry to T-Mobile’. It’s so nice to see BlackBerry on the site John. It feels good. You even have pictures of all the latest BlackBerry phones. The Passport, the Classic, the Leap, even the Q5 and the Z30!

But John! You’ve missed the boat! These phones aren’t being offered by you. In fact, when I go to your site, I find the only BlackBerry currently being offered is the BlackBerry Classic. Adding insult to injury, when I go to your BlackBerry landing page, there’s not a BlackBerry to be found! Instead I am hit with a barrage of Android phones. What kind of trickery is this!?

Back in June, you made an offer John. You made an offer called Jump on Demand. It’s a nice offer. Giving customers the ability to upgrade their phones up to three times a year.

You lied John. You lied to us. You said we could get the phone we want. But we can’t. We want BlackBerry. And on your Jump page , you show that overpriced feature phone, the iPhone 6. Then list the Galaxy S 6, Galaxy S 6 edge, Galaxy Note 4, and LG G4 as other options.

Where’s the BlackBerry devices at John? Where are the phones we want?

Oh, there they are. In our pockets. Phones we’ve bought from Amazon, Shop BlackBerry, and other carriers, that actually offered the phones we want and supported the brand we love. And now you expect us to take these phones, and bring them to you? So that you can get the monthly service revenue from us? So you can bill us monthly while not offering us the phone’s we want or the promotions you offer Android users and iPhone users?
