Do you love music? Are you in a band? Do you want to check the consistency of your playing? Want to know the speed to play a song you hear on the radio?
If you answer yes to any of those questions, you may want to check out LiveBPM by Daniel Bach (yes Bach)!
Check this video demo of LiveBPM out.
Sorry about two things. I didn’t notice them until after I uploaded to Youtube! The glitch around 0:55 (didn’t miss anything), and the vibrations when I’m drumming on the table! Lol!
Anyway, this is the best BPM app I’ve found so far. Many of them want you to tap on the screen in time with the music you are listening to in order to display the BPM (beats per minute). This app is very accurate at listening to the music playing, or the beats it hears through the mics in your Priv. The processing is very quick which almost makes it real time.
I’ve found it indispensible at band practice. It has helped us discover the odd bad habit, and also let us play cover tunes at the rate they were recorded or performed.
Rock on, Dave out!
