BlackBerry’s Enterprise Partner Program for Solution Providers is an amalgamation of several of BlackBerry’s key acquisitions from recent years, such as Good and WatchDox. BlackBerry has taken the existing technology, secured it, and relaunched them as an integrated, seamless enterprise solution. They effectively created the Enterprise of Things, and the standard by which it operates. It has become clear over the past several months that BlackBerry’s aim is to offer the most secure solutions for the blossoming EoT market.
In the time since it was launched, BlackBerry added over 1500 partners to their Enterprise program. Many of these have opted for the higher tiers of access and support. This commitment is recognized because as Richard McLeod, Global Vice President of BlackBerry’s Enterprise Software Channels, stated:
It requires a significant investment of time and resources. It’s a testament to the value they see in our program.
BlackBerry’s Enterprise Partner Program is still in it’s infancy. While being formed from established software solutions, the collective infrastructure is new and innovative for this market. Receiving such coveted accolades so early in its development and implementation not only speaks to BlackBerry’s vision but their forethought and execution.
McLeod promises more to come as this Enterprise program matures.
