BlackBerry Android Apps Updated for Beta Testers.

Today we saw several BlackBerry Android apps updated in the Google Play Store. BlackBerry Hub, Hub+ Services, BlackBerry Contacts, BlackBerry Notes and Tasks all received an update.

BlackBerry Hub

We reported earlier today that the Dark Theme was now available in today’s Hub update, a feature that many have been asking for. Along with this the changes listed for the Hub app are:

  • Added setting for default sending account
  • Support for viewing .eml attachments
  • Toggle to remove an account from Hub and stop syncing it
  • Added contact avatars to Hub email notifications
  • Improved rendering for rich formatted HTML emails
  • Fixed issues with some attachments not downloading
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements

BlackBerry Android apps

Contacts by BlackBerry

Changes listed for the Contacts app are:

  • Added ability to hide specific contact accounts and stop syncing
  • Bug fixes for contacts not showing up in search
  • Fixed bug with DAV accounts that have different usernames and email addresses to use appropriate details
  • Other bug fixes and performance improvements

BlackBerry Hub+ Services

Update includes bug fixes and performance improvements
