BlackBerry and Google join forces to offer workshops demonstrating BES12/Android for Work

Following BlackBerry’s addition of Android for Work support to BES12, the company expected a uptick in interest from IT professionals. As BlackBerry’s blog post eloquently puts it, “pairing BlackBerry’s best-in-class enterprise security with the most popular mobile OS in the planet was sure to draw attention”.

Turns out, BlackBerry was right, as evidenced by the swift response to the company’s free, half-day “Bring Android to Work with BlackBerry” Simplified Management Workshop series – the first event, which will be held in Toronto on February 2, has already reached capacity.

If you’re interested in Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM), the good news is that the Toronto workshop is only one of five that BlackBerry and Google are co-hosting across America. For further details on the remaining four workshops, click the relevant link in the list below:

At each workshop, top Google and BlackBerry executives will demonstrate how using Android and BlackBerry software in conjunction can drive mobile user productivity and secure work data and personal data on Android devices.

You’ll learn how Android for Work, combined with enhanced security and simple management through BlackBerry’s BES12 software, will help turn your employees’ Android devices into perfect business tools with:

  • Simplified IT management for all devices
  • Secure corporate data
  • User privacy protected
  • All the apps you need

If you’re likely to attend one of these workshops, please feel free to let us know in the comments below!
