Over the last couple of years it’s become the norm for those in a position to do so to continually beat up and manipulate BlackBerry stock to serve their own needs. The most recent is none other that James Faucette who downgraded the stock on what seemed to be pure opinion without any facts. It had many including myself wondering what he sees that many others don’t? Well given the recent good news coming out of Waterloo and Chen’s plans falling into place, it looks like BlackBerry and John Chen are about to ruin some more parties
Turns out James doesn’t actually see anything and he is doing what he does best which is manipulate to best serve himself and Morgan Stanley, who just happens to be the 5th largest institutional investor in Mobile Iron with over 1.4 million shares, as you can see below and read more here. Oops, can you say BUSTED Mr. Faucette?

Coincidence? I think not. Like we said yesterday and will continue to say. Credibility goes a long way and its clear that Mr. Faucette has very little to spare. Just how his analysis can cause a 5% drop in BlackBerry stock is beyond me but I guess for those who didn’t know his motives, you do now.
So given that Morgan Stanley has taken such a stake in Mobile Iron, why is Mr. Faucette speaking to the reasons as to why they did such a thing? Why is he downgrading the competitor? Is there something to fear James? Buyers remorse on those 1.4 Million shares? Clearly there must have been a lot of research and analysis done before Morgan Stanley took such a stake. Please do give us your always wise and fact filled analysis on that.
It’s becoming more and more clear that the turnaround plan is in full swing as it seems like those who took positions against BlackBerry or with a competitor are starting to feel the heat. With that said, I suggest reading analysis reports from someone who doesn’t have a horse in the race like Citron Research for example assuming you are looking for an unbiased analysis with fact, figures and reasons as to what they think a stock will do in the short and long term.
