Blackberry 10 Commercial From Verizon

In a previous post earlier this month UTB contributor Brad wrote about a great deal being offered by Verizon for prospective consumers who purchased BB10 devices. With the purchase of a new BlackBerry Z10, Q10, and Z30 on a new 2 year activation, Verizon was offering its customers a $150 dollar credit on their bill.

Verizon has now released the following commercial which is geared towards its enterprise customers that are still on BBOS

In a recent move, Verizon has now partnered up with Blackberry to offer a new promotion to upgrade its existing enterprise customers still on BBOS phones to Blackberry 10 devices.  Included in this promotion are the following:

  • BES 10 licenses
  • Support
  • Cash incentives for each BBOS device traded in for a BB10 phone

For businesses still on BBOS that have not made the transition to BB10, now is a great opportunity to take advantage of this promotion to upgrade your devices.

With BB10 you get the following:

  • The hub where you can conveniently access all your emails and notifications in one place
  • Much faster browser
  • Better screen resolution
  • Quicker response time
  • Predictive keyboard on the Z10 and Z30
  • One of the best physical keyboards around for those who choose the Q10
  • Blackberry balance which separates your workspace from your personal space
  • Better camera

This promotion benefits not just Blackberry and Verizon, but also its customers.  You can bet that in the coming months there will be more announcements and commercials, especially with the anticipated launch of the Blackberry Passport next month and the Classic later this year.

Al last! Some great US carrier support for BlackBerry – let’s hope it lasts.

Web99 enjoys tech and has tried smartphones on all the major platforms. Out of all devices he has tried, BlackBerry10 best fulfills his needs.

    Great find Web.

Hope something like that comes out over in the UK.

Not only do they get the best business phone and EMM solution, but the companies that change will get the ability to manage non company owned devices easily with BES10.

That would be awesome is they could convert just a third of the BBOS users to OS10 the numbers would be staggering!

Great post, Web, now only if we can get AT&T and Sprint to offer something similar

I can’t say enough about how much of a fan I am of this promotion; I really hope other carriers follow suit and do the same for their BlackBerry customers. What I would really like to see the most, however, is after sales support. The carriers really need to honour these offers with timely OS updates and not lag months behind carriers in Europe or Canada.

  • Good info Web. Very exciting. Really. However, I must say that while Verizon has given the most love to BBRY of the other US carriers (they carry the Z10, Q10 and Z30), they still have a way to go before I totally warm up to them.

I’m looking forward to the time when the retail sales team enthusiastically sells the benefits of BB handsets.

But this is a great promotion and a really significant development. How are the BB haters gonna spin this negatively?

    The tide is turning!

    Love it!

Would love to see the look on a certain “B.D.”‘s face:

“How could they be encouraging people to move to an inferior modern platform?!?!? Bawwwww!!”
