One of my pet peeves about BlackDroid (PRIV and DTEK50) is the lack of a File Manager right out of the box. Since first receiving a PRIV I’ve been on a hunt for a decent File Manager. After going through roughly a dozen or so I’ve found one that best meets my needs – the Asus File Manager. If this bad-boy does not meet your specific needs, please feel free to add a comment regarding your fave File Manager any why. While many of them are similar there are a few nuances. According to Google Play-
ASUS File Manager helps you handle all your files whether they are stored in your device’s memory, microSD card, local area network, and cloud storage accounts.
By default, ASUS File Manager allows you to copy, move, rename, delete or share files to and from any of your storages. It also lets you browse and access your files by category.
The latest update (v188.8.131.526_160818) includes Improved performance and the addition of a Hidden Cabinet.
If you’re willing to try something new why not head on over to Google Play and download / update Asus File Manager here.
