I like productivity apps. It’s pretty much the only type of app I use.
If I find myself using an app regularly, I know it is a great app and helping me be productive, not just a novelty or a toy that I will soon tire of.
Such is the case with a neat little app I discovered called “Corky Notes”.
This is a simple but graphically elegant Built for BlackBerry app that at first was a novelty, fun to use, but I have found it to be my daily driver to do and scheduling app.
Simple, it’s modeled after post it notes on a bulletin board, much like the native Windows “Sticky Notes” app.
Tap the board, a note comes up, type on it, copy paste to/from it, give it a color and a due date if you wish, that’s pretty much it. Even if it is not complex enough for your task app, it is a great quick input for that. Any thought that comes to mind toss it up on the board, drag drop to organize and prioritize, stack notes in categories, copy paste later to it’s final home. No thinking in involved, surprisingly useful!
In BlackBerry style you can have a separate bulletin board for work/play/shopping/school – tabs are on the left to select a different board.
BlackJack approved, pick it up!
