Apple earns more than $400 on every iPhone 7 they sell

Those brand-new, shiny iPhones our Apple-loving friends are currently shelling out $649 for?

Each one costs Apple just under $220 to manufacture – meaning a $429 profit on every one they sell!

According to an article on BusinessInsider.com, research firm IHS disassembled Apple’s latest offering to example the components. They calculated that the total cost of the iPhone 7’s parts is just $219.80. Admittedly, it is an increase on the cost of last year’s model – but by less than $10.
