Verizon To Purchase AOL

Announced today from the New York Times that Verizon has purchased AOL for $4.4 Billion.

What this will mean in terms of more high speed Internet and video streaming services for Verizon customers, time will tell.

One take, $50.00 a share seems high for AOL, since they are almost forgotten. Though it seems there are quite a few that still use their dial-up for Internet.
