New Way Found to Steal your PIN Code

You need to keep your device safe, and not only from malware. A new scam has been discovered to steal PIN codes 30 seconds after you unlock the device.

If your device gets stolen, you may be at risk if you recently unlocked it. By using thermal camera, thieves can know exactly what is your PIN to unlock the device. Why thermal camera? Our screen keeps marks of our fingers with warm sensitive, at least for 30 seconds after we touched the screen.

The researchers found out that Android users who use finger drawn lock are in the highest risk, as the researchers succeed 100% when it was an Android lock. iOS is also at risk as the touch screen works in the same way.

Keep your device safe.

Doesn’t work with picture password or a real keyboard…

Picture password is always unique, and every swipe to unlock different…
    ;-P

These static password and key apps are ridiculous. This shows th lack of thought put into their products and the architecture behind them…
