You can help someone in our community.
It’s that time of year again. Time for Lorenzo’s Lung Walkers to make Great Strides. And you can help.
Lorenzo’s Lung Walkers is the namesake of the amazing son of the Don Berzley, the developer behind the native BB10 app Pill Pad. Lorenzo suffers from cystic fibrosis (CF). CF is a devastating disease which attacks the lungs and other organs. Living with CF means living with constant costly treatments. Lorenzo is just one of approximately 30,000 Americans living with CF
While there have been some amazing progress in the treatment of the disease, there is still no cure. But they’re still working on it, and the Great Strides Walk is a way to raise funds for this research and to support those families which live with CF.
Each year we ask for any charitable UTB’ers to support this great cause. There are two ways to do it.
You can buy a shirt. For $25 you can get purchase a t-shirt to support the Lorenzo’s team. I actually love this year’s design. If you’d like to take this route, click here.
Don’t want a shirt, or live in an area in which the shirt can’t be shipped? You can donate directly to the fundraiser in Lorenzo’s name here.
Any amount can help with this great cause. Just imagine if we all skipped a cup of coffee this week? Let’s make this year the best turnout yet!
