I need lot of free time to setup the device like i love

I feel the same way. That being said I'm back to having only the apps I really need everyday.

My Priv is getting a little laggy, I might try a factory reset on weekend. It could use a good clean out

So far, so good with my Priv, but I'm not afraid to do an annual reset just to clean up.

I just don't have the time to sit and set up all over again

It is a PITA to do that, I agree. I have screen shots of my home pages so I can remember which apps I have in the event I need to set up my Priv from scratch. There are also apps that will back up your device, including the apps. I'm not sure if that means the apk files or what. The one I have is Super Backup.

Never worry about backup, except for what I save, when doing a wipe.
Prefer to start from scratch.
