Crashed Passport - Help!!
#1
Hi everyone, I have a sick Passport. I needed to do a reinstall of the OS as I was having cellphone connectivity issues. The first reload went okay, but on restore the issue came back, leading me too believe that it was an app issue. I went to reload again today, but something went wrong and I ended up in a perpetual loop of reinstall with a green squircle, not a blue one. Then an error message appeared http://www.bberror.com/BB10-0015. That wasn't helpful at all, but trying to use Link again to reinstall and it continues to fail. From what I have read, it is a fatal file error that is halting the reinstall. Does anyone have any suggestions to clear this out? I was thinking autoloader, but I don't know exactly how that works. Thoughts?

Autoloader gives you a clean install, phone will start with nada, better than a factory reset. Just do NOT load backup, start from scratch, should work fine.

Thanks DL, where do I get an autoloader from and how do I work it? I've never done that before.

I believe you download Saches or Darcy's tools, download autoloader files for your device and drag them onto the install tab in Sachesi.

Download Sachesi and guide in this link:

Download 10.3.3 Autoloader files from this link:

Note: I've never done an autoloader, only blitz files, but I believe it's the same method. Hope that helps. DL might want to give some other tips

Under Passport you will need the Debrick and Radio bar files.
One caveat, the version you will load HAS to be the same as you were running or newer.

Here are very easy instructions posted by Robert on the full process.

Need more, I'll do what I can.

Gentlemen, thank you for your help! I'm doubly sad because I was thinking of getting a backup Passport when they had their last flash sale and now it seems they are sold out. I could get a classic from Telus, but they are selling them for $520 CDN. The Passport on sale was $320. Aaaaarrrrrrghh!
