BlackBerry Suite of Apps Updated Yet Again in The Google Play Store.

After receiving the Hub+ update yesterday, it appears the rest of the BlackBerry Suite of Apps have all received updates today. Apps that received an update include

  • BlackBerry Hub
  • BlackBerry Device Search
  • BlackBerry Contacts
  • BlackBerry Calendar
  • BlackBerry Launcher
  • BlackBerry Notable
  • BlackBerry Password Keeper
  • DTEK
  • BlackBerry Tasks
  • BlackBerry Notes

Most of the apps just note bug fixes and performance improvements, however the Hub update did include Telegram and KiK integration.

Along with these app updates I was also fortunate enough to get the latest OS update with the March Security patches. If you haven’t already recieved the March Security Update, you might want to keep an eye out for it. I had checked for it this morning and nothing available so went to Google Play Store and found the BlackBerry app updates. Immediately recieved notification of the OS update. Coincidence? Perhaps but give that a try if the update isn’t showing up for you.

If they could get a really good file manager included into the subscription that would be fantastic + getting it all ‘free’ with your BlackBerry device would make owning a BlackBerry all that much better.

As we all know, android severely lacks a default file manager.
If they can get remote storage integrated like BlackBerry 10 this would be hugely beneficial.

      Hi Zensen,
I agree. I would love to see a BlackBerry File Manager equivalent to what we have for BB10. In the meantime though check out Brad’s post:

I use this solution too, and while it takes 2 apps to do what BB10 File Manager does out of the box, it works quite well. In fact, abFilles is blazingly quick for remote access.
