Blackberry media player better than Android and IOS

black-berry-z30---galaxy-s4---iphone-5s

I was reviewing a bunch of old videos of my kids and family and found one that I wanted to share with my wife and oldest daughter.

I figured that since I had no issues watching it on my Z30 (BB10), they would have no issue on their iPhone 5s and Samsung Galaxy 5. Boy, I was wrong.

I sent it to them via BBM, the best messenger system around, and they both downloaded it and let me they couldn’t open the file. I had to go back and see what kind of file I sent and saw that it was an .avi file.

I really wanted them to see it, so I had to transfer it to a .mp4 format to ensure they could watch it.

I know that I am biased towards BB10 and BlackBerry but I try to play around with both of their phones to understand better. This is just another reason while I will continue to be a BB10 for as long as possible.

The ease of use, ability to share from within every app or location, and the sheer speed of doing everything.

    I agree all the way!

    • This! I love this feature in BB10! Did any of this make it to the PRIV?

        Just a taste of it.

I don’t believe there’s anything my BlackBerry can’t do. It’s the perfect tool.

I had a website to share with a non-BlackBerry colleague. As I went through the usual share function, they stopped me to figure out what I was doing. So I backed up and redid it slowly for them. They were blown away by how easy it was for me to share something. Again, something we take for granted, but others struggle with.

      Keyword being ‘slowly’
Must have been an iPhone users.

The first thing iPhone and Android users need to admit is they’re idiots. Then the healing can begin with a BB10 device. locco_smiley_21

That’s very true. I’ve been using iOS for the last few years and it’s funny how much it lacks features, unless of course they copy it after two years. BlackBerry has the features and security that the crApple doesn’t have.
