BlackBerry Hub : The Comparison

We love to take the hard work and bring you some things to see.  I decided to bring the BlackBerry Hub into the table and make a comparison between the Android and BB10 versions.

Now you can ask “why now?”, and I will answer that I feel that the android Hub is now the Hub version that BlackBerry had to release in day 1.

So which one is better ? I will let you decide. I picked up the common uses of the Hub and didn’t go deeper cause then it will take much longer to make the video.

What do you think ?

For me the BlackBerry 10 Hub has the best functionality and is best manageable.

    • Roy shpitalnik

      That whats important

So UTB’s mission is to get people to ditch BB10 to go Android, the only people who are dividing the community is UTB with exceptions like Biggly you go on about it week after week that BB10 users are dividing the community yet you do this, People do have a mind, we are not afraid, we don’t need condescending videos,I don’t use Android, because is crap, have you got that message, no matter what Manufacture that makes a Android product it’s still Android so Blackberry is no different except it has a bit of security in the Device, that is all. So Brad and the Team so treating me and others as we’re stupid,

    • Roy shpitalnik

Why you think i want that you will ditch BB10 ? cause i did comparison ? Really ? As long as that you use BlackBerry device I’m happy.

    • DLewis13

I am with Roy. UTB is not trying to change anyone’s mind on which BlackBerry they use. BB10 and BlackDroid both have their pluses. Choice is up to you. I have the Priv, but if I could afford it, I would have the Classic as daily driver, with the Passport on Wi-Fi as a tablet.
The blog was only a comparison, as noted in the title. NO ONE is trying to get anyone to switch from any phone except to say BlackBerry is the best.

        Thanks DL

    • Take a step back, watch the video, then read your comment again.

Then understand that it’s these misguided comments and attacks that show us what misinformation needs to be corrected.

      Thank you for the material.

No one is treating you like you’re stupid. Regardless of how you’re acting.

Have to say I enjoyed that! Very useful for BlackBerry 10 ‘diehards’ such as myself to see how the Hub has come on on BlackDroid as the last info I had on it was back in the early days when it was missing many apps, they all seem to be there now.

Still prefer my BlackBerry 10 Hub (thought getting into the Android one was a bit fiddly and unlike Roy I prefer the BB10 way of deleting, flagging etc) but nice to see how things are progressing.

    • Roy shpitalnik

The Hub on BB10 still feel more Natural then on Android thanks to Pick and Flow :) Thanks Biggly

      • FS

        BlackBerry 10 is awesome!

  • Bigglybobblyboo

An where’s MY dark theme BlackBerry!!!

  • anthogag

You can also delete emails with the back key on the Passport. “N” next message, “P” previous, etc.

You’re still tapping the home button in Android…maybe cool 10 years ago

    • Roy shpitalnik

The same in android with keyboard…

About the home button… Pick and flow is great feature as i mention in the video…

  • Fahed Al Derbi

Thanks Roy and personally your video was so useful for me because I am planning to buy KEYone and in the same time I will keep my Classic so I will use them both

    • Roy shpitalnik

      Your Welcome

  • FS

And BlackBerry go on with BlackBerry 10! Because we want 100% BlackBerry inside our smartphones!

  • Wayno

I like BB10’s method of flagging/deleting much better. It’s a lot quicker. Also BB10 has attachment view, Android version does not

    • Dave Matthews

Actually, Blackdroid Hub does have attachment view. There’s a paperclip icon on the top of the Hub, click that and you’ll see all your attachments. Came out a few updates ago.

      • Wayno

Wow, you’re right Dave. I never noticed that. I expected to see it at bottom like BB10 Thanks for pointing it out, cheers

        • Dave Matthews

No worries mate! I wish the Blackdroid Hub had the trashcan icon for quick deletion. BB10 Hub still reigns supreme IMHO.
