Special Guest Alex Thurber To Join UTB Blogcast.

At UTB we love having guests on our Blogcast. In recent months we’ve had a couple of Special Guests such as Marty Beard, the COO of BlackBerry, and Matthew Talbot, CEO of BBM. Today we are very excited to announce that another very special guest will be joining us next Friday, General Manager of BlackBerry Mobility Solutions, Alex Thurber.

Alex was very quick to agree to join us for another fun filled UTB Blogcast. We will be chatting about most things BlackBerry including software, security and even devices. This is one of those Blogcasts that you’re not going to want to miss. You can watch it live on the UTB Networks YouTube Channel HERE and be sure to join us in the live chat or if you miss it, you can catch the replay on our site.

So save this in your diary, calendar, or write it on your hand (just don’t wash it off, LOL). It will be a little earlier than our usual time, it is scheduled for Friday 19th of May at 11.00am Pacific time. Don’t miss it!!

Cool. UTB continues to be the most interesting BlackBerry site. Way to go Boys and Erica.

  • That is so cool! Congratulations guys, on this further recognition! Outstanding!

I would Mr. Thunder to take one request back the the software guys.
In the next OS update, if or when that happens, can I get the option to remove the amazon apps off my device? BlackBerry no longer updates these “system” apps (amazon does) and I don’t use them yet they are still using my data for reasons unbeknownst to me. For me this is a privacy and security issue which BlackBerry insist is important the them.

Looking forward to the interview. Please ask when we should expect to see BlackBerry’s version of Android N come to the Priv and DTEK phones.

You have to ask him about their current plans with BB10.

There’s a picture of the cancelled BlackBerry “Ontario”, the Z30 successor, floating around in Channels. It would fit right in with today’s smartphones, everyone is copying BB10’s no-home-button look.

BlackBerry could partner with Microsoft for BB10.

Is Apple looking for a new OS for iPhone? iPhone, another device that’s moving towards the no-home-button look. Sell BB10 to Apple.
